Fiat Rally for Sarcoma UK- A roaring success

On the 24th September, a mad group of Fiat 500 enthusiasts travelled down to Lepe Beach, on the South Coast to raise money and awareness for Sarcoma UK. The event was quite a head-turner, and even more so after the Thames Valley Fiat group in Slough donated a gorgeous bright yellow Fiat 500 Abarth for the weekend.

A total of 32 people attended the event, and we are approaching a £600 total for money raised which is a truly spectacular effort.

Sometime I think it is easy to take our health for granted. At Azzurro, we like to keep people feeling their best with personal training, physiotherapy and sports massage, but it is easy to forget there are many people out there who would love to be able to control the outcome of their health through training and physiotherapy alone.

Unfortunately, for those suffering with Sarcoma, the future is full of uncertainties. This brutal and unrelenting form of cancer, affecting the soft tissues and bone often gives tremendous pain and suffering. Unfortunately Sunday's Fiat Rally should have had two additional heroes in attendance, had they not sadly lost their battle with Sarcoma.

100% of the money raised goes straight to Sarcoma UK, the only Charity in the UK that focuses on all types of sarcoma, providing valuable funds for research into finding a cure, and also helping to support those who have been affected by the disease, as too many of using the group on Sunday have been.

So a MASSIVE THANK YOU to all those who donated, and to all those who spent a fantastic day travelling south with us on Sunday. We are grateful to each and everyone of you. Stay tuned for our next fundraiser up-dates as we are always dreaming up new ways to raise money.
