James qualified with First Class Honours in Sport Injury Rehabilitation from St Mary’s University, Twickenham. He then went on to complete a Masters in Physiotherapy from King’s College London. James has built a wealth of experience in private musculoskeletal practice in central London and with elite athletes, from rehab to sports massage, chronic pain to acute injuries. James’ CV also boasts work with Reading FC, London Irish RFC, England students RFC and most notably with the Australian and New Zealand 7’s teams and the All Black’s, providing pre and post-match treatments. Aside from sport, James holds experience in treating common musculoskeletal problems such as joint pain and lower back pain and therefore can help you get back to doing the things you enjoy, be it general activity or high level sport.

James provides a thorough initial assessment for all appointments in order to rule out any sinister pathology and ensure the correct course of treatment. As a keen sportsman, James understands the pressures of sport and will aim to keep you active throughout your injury, tailoring a rehabilitation programme to your needs.

James has a keen interest in rehabilitating sports injuries, but has published literature on the effects on Physiotherapy's role in reducing the risk of falls in the elderly. This means he is highly proficient in helping people of all abilities and levels. He is skilled at sports massage, taping, strength and conditioning and rehabilitation.
